MALAGIYA ATHTHO

             My favorite Sinhala novel is The Dead. Translated by Prof. Ediriweera Sarathchandra. It is based on Japanese culture. The main character is played by a Sri Lankan youth and the other characters are played by Japanese actors.  The novel is included in the syllabus for the students to use for the subject as well. It is a well known fact that many people enjoy this novel with great interest.

              “A story in a perfect pattern

                Can be adjusted with but

                Life cannot be adjusted

                Hanging out of here

                Disorganized by replicas

                Shrubs set aside

                Like a piece .. "

             That is why Mr. Sarathchandra has stated.  Written by a Sri Lankan artist in this way, the story is written in a way that represents all aspects of life.  A novel.

MY SECOND MOTHER

My school and Julampitiya Maha Vidyalaya are located in the Hambantota district.  As far as I know my school has a history of over two hundred years.  At present it is not a national school .I came to my school from grade one to grade 13 to study. I get up in the morning and walk to school in white along the main road in the middle of our village. Now my school mother is more developed and beautiful than ever before. My school has over three hundred students.
